EVA Air to fly NYC to Asia Nonstop, Adds 5th Weekly Flight

EVA Air will begin nonstop service from JFK Airport to Taiwan, while simultaneously increasing its weekly flights to five a week beginning June 19, 2012.

Departures at JFK will be scheduled on Tuesday-Friday and Sunday this summer, also eliminating the need for flights to stop in Anchorage to refuel. Traveling will be made easier and more enjoyable with one-stop connections through the Taoyuan International Airport to the 24 cities in China. Travelers can book flights, buy tickets and select seats through travel agents, by calling EVA toll free at 800-695-1188 or online at www.evaair.com .

With its schedule change, the originally 14 hour and 50 minute flight time will be reduced by approximately 3 hours and 25 minutes. The now nonstop flight time for the return trip from Taipei is 15 hours and 55 minutes.

Aside from New York, EVA Air also serves Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver in North America. Find EVA’s free mobile app for iPhones, Androids and other smart phones along with scheduling and booking information at www.evaair.com.
