Megabus is heading to the South.

Megabus is expanding to the South. The company announced today that it will begin offering bus routes  on November 16 in the southern United States with a hub in Atlanta, Georgia. Customers can travel between Atlanta and eleven Southern cities, including Charlotte, N.C., Memphis, Tenn. and Orlando, Fla.

Customers who book early can take advantage of fares as low as $1. As the travel date approaches, prices go up. Booking for the new southern routes begins online today at www.megabus.com.

“Megabus.com has rapidly become the travel option of choice for millions of people and today we’re excited to bring our unique travel option to Atlanta and the southeast region,” said Dale Moser, president and COO of megabus.com. “As Americans continue to look for ways to stretch their income, we look forward to providing safe, convenient and affordable travel to the millions of Atlanta-area residents.”

Megabus offers environmentally-friendly buses with free Wi-Fi, power outlets and restrooms. For more information, visit their website.
