10,000 Miles, 36 Days, 34 Manchesters
In a gesture sure to please some folks back home, Pete Johnson, a biker from Manchester, England, is visiting all the towns in North America that share the same name-34 in total! He began his 10,000 mile journey on May 13 and has just completed the last leg of his trip in Manchester, California, where residents of the small coastal town gave him a Mancunian welcome.
Johnson flew home on June 17, just in time to take part in the Manchester Day parade, which is a celebration in honor of the great city.
