Egypt operations suspended through March 31st

General Tours World Traveler recently sent out this news release containing imperative information concerning travel to Egypt during this current time:
Responding to further developments over the weekend including U.S. Department of State recommendations that U.S. Citizens avoid travel to Egypt, General Tours World Traveler announced this morning that it has extended the suspension of all Egypt programs beyond the mid February date announced last Friday. Guests scheduled to depart through February 28th have now been contacted and offered a choice of rescheduling their trip or receiving a full cash refund. Travelers booked from March 1st to March 31st will be offered the choice of a later departure or a travel credit for the full
value of their booking valid for one year. Despite the challenges on the ground, General Tours’ Cairo-based staff was able to maintain regular contact with all guests who were in Egypt over the weekend. The company is pleased to report that everyone was safe and sound and that all passengers have now departed Cairo safely. At this time, departures after March 31st are not impacted and normal terms and conditions apply, including the ability to change or cancel.
