LAX To See $1.3B Upgrade

LAX airport in Los Angeles, California will undergo a $1.3B uprgrade. LAX has awarded two contracts to build new concourses and to upgrade the terminal so it can handle larger jets. The Los Angeles City Council must now approve of the project.

Airport commissioners approved the #1.3B in construction contracts for upgrades to LAX. The improvements will especially be seen at the main entryway and also at the departure area for international travelers at LAX. Two contracts have been awarded to Walsh Austin Joint Venture.

LAX changes can be seen starting early next year.
