Top UK Attractions for International Tourists

The First Rate Exchange Services survey questioned tourists from USA, Ireland, Spain, France, and Germany on which UK attraction they most wanted to visit during their time in the UK. Trafalgar Square was the most popular, following with Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace.

Along with these sites were London’s museums which made London the main port of call for 72% of international visitors.

A visit to Buckingham Palace is a must for Americans. Over 51% said visiting the Queen’s London home was the top of their tourist trip list. The French are most likely to venture to the capital of Edinburgh Castle, Oxford University, and the White Cliffs of Dover. For people from Ireland, Oxford Street is their most wanted destination, along with a visit to the Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham.
