National Parks cut Fees to cut Slack

During these tough economic times, 147 of the national parks and monuments which charge a $3-$25 entrance fee are trying to cut people some slack by waiving fees on three weekends this summer. The weekends are June 20-21, July 18-19 and August 15-16.  The waiver applies only to entrance fees and does not affect charges for camping, reservations, tours or concessions.

However, if you live only miles away from one of these fantastic national parks, a $25 entrance fee cut could save you a whole trips worth of money!
