Vintage Airline Bags Recall the Dead Airlines of the Past

I asked Cindy, my traveling companion, about a topic for today…after just a second, she suggested luggage. It’s a sultry June day and so it’s time to think about vintage airline bags! I love these bags, showing those logos of days gone by. The carriers that have long since disappeared and planes tails have been repainted, although most of the jets now reside in the Arizona desert near Tucson.
There is a man named Troy who collects hundreds of these cool little bags, and he lists them all by country on the site at the link above. Look at how many different logos just Pan Am has had over their long run.

Now a railroad baron in Connecticut named Guilford has bought the name so Pan Am is actually a freight railroad instead of an airline. How times change!
